We are not even in October yet but Samsung has started rolling out the October security patch to users of the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3. This is not the first time that the OEM has managed this feat, even ahead of Google who are expected to be the first to take such new software to their devices.
For now, there is no detailed changelog to show what these updates bring to the table. Since it is pushed out this fast, Samsung might have added some more stuff in there to tighten flaws and boost the performance of the phone.
Of course, any bugs that the engineers found should also be quashed by the updates.
If you happen to have any of these phones, note that the update is currently rolling out in the home market of South Korea alone. Likewise, the USA-bound Galaxy Z Fold3 units are just getting their move to the September security patch, but we hope that Samsung speeds things up globally this time around.
