Last month, Realme unleashed the Realme GT Neo2 smartphone in the Chinese market. Not long after the launch, several sources began to hint at the phone’s arrival in the Indian market. Until yesterday, the news of the smartphone’s India launch was classified as rumors.
However, Realme did unveil the GT Neo2 handset in India yesterday. The phone launched alongside gaming accessories, a 4K Smart TV Google Stick, and a Brick Bluetooth speaker.
Interestingly, the GT Neo 2 is the third Realme GT series smartphone to launch in the Indian Market. And here are its specifications and features.
Specifications of the Realme GT Neo2
The Realme GT Neo2 smartphone has a Samsung E4 AMOLED screen measuring 6.62-inches. The display delivers a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5000000:1 contrast ratio, and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
The screen also promises a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 1300nits brightness. The handset runs on the Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 11 OS, and it sports the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform.
The Realme GT Neo2 offers the user up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Inside, the GT Neo2 houses a 5,000mAh battery. And according to Realme, the handset will get fully charged in about 36 minutes – thanks to the in-box 65W fast charger.
The front camara on the Realme GT Neo2 is a 16-megapixel sensor, and the rear camera setup comprises a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with a 4cm focal length.
Meanwhile, the Realme GT Neo2 supports other amazing features like face unlock and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
For connectivity, the Realme GT Neo2 supports 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, dual-frequency GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, Hi-Res audio support, USB-C port, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos Games support.
Price of the Realme GT Neo2 Smartphone in India
In India, the base variant, which has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage carries a price tag of Rs 31,999 (~$425), while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage edition retails for Rs 35,999 (~$478). Customers can buy the phone in Neo Green, Neo Black, and Neo Blue color editions.
