Honor brought the X20 SE to the market first, and they are now launching what seems to be the vanilla X20 to the market. We would have imagined that they would do this the other way around, but we are always excited to have a new device launch in the market anyway.
The company announced that the device will hit the market on August 12, which is a day after the Samsung Unpacked event where we are sure to get a lot of new things from the South Korean OEM. Besides the launch date, though, Honor also gave us a sneak peek into what to expect on this new device.
For example, we now know officially that the phone will carry a 64MP-led tri camera setup on the back and launch in at least two colours. If you are looking to pick one up, you will see that the unit comes with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side of the panel, in the same breath as the volume rocker keys.
We don’t have any information on the screen size, material or other such specs on the unit. However, we know that the nit will come with a massive 66W fast charging capacity on an unnamed battery, and get 5G support out of the box.
All that sounds way above decent for now, so we will only wait till the launch date to see what else this device has in store for us. If it doesn’t leak more before then, that is.
