Xiaomi, under its Mi TV Master Series, has officially launched its first OLED Smart TV. The TV comes with a 65-inch 4K 120Hz panel. The Chinese brand also stated that the TV is equipped with the MediaTek chipset and MIUI for TV.
The new addition to the Mi TV series features a 65-inch OLED display with an exquisite build. Compared to other model released by the company, this new Smart TV has a very slim, almost bezel-less, and premium finish. The TV will retail for 12,999 Yuan (~$1,840).
As the name implies, the TV has a 10-bit 4K OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, MEMC, peak brightness of 1000 nits, and 1ms response time. It also features a 98.5% DCI-P3 colour gamut, HDR10+, 1000000:1 contrast ratio, Dolby Vision, and a 98.8% screen to body ratio.
Alongside the MediaTek MTK9650 SoC assisted by Mali-G52 MC1 GPU, the processor is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage.
As for the OS, the TV is driven by the MIUI for TV with Patchwall content aggregation service.
The new OLED TV will arrive with a 65W in-built sound system. The sound system includes a 20W 50Hz ultra-low frequency subwoofer, 2 x 12.5W left/right channels, and 2 x 10W surround channels. It sports a 4-mic array for XiaoAI voice assistant. It carries support for well-known audio formats like Dolby Audio, Dolby Atmos 2.1.2, and DTS Audio.
On the connectivity aspect, the TV is equipped with a dual-band WiFi 5 and a Bluetooth 5.0. It features an ethernet port, an antenna, optical, two USB ports, three HDMI ports, and S/PDIF.
