In November and earlier this month, a couple of reports surfaced regarding the specifications and launch of the Vivo V20 (2021).

Many have been anticipating its arrival, and yesterday, the Chinese brand discreetly unveiled the smartphone.

It arrived as the fourth – and possibly the last – member of the Vivo V20 series, which already include other smartphones like the Vivo V20, Vivo V20 SE, and Vivo V20 Pro.

Specifications and Features of the Vivo V20 (2021)

The 2021 edition of the Vivo V20 weighs 171 grams, and it measures 161.3 x 74.2 x 7.4mm. It arrives with a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel that supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

The screen has a refresh rate of 60Hz, offers a 20:9 aspect ratio, and has a waterdrop notch that houses the 44-megapixel front-facing snapper.

On the rear, the Vivo V20 (2021) packs a rectangular camera module that consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a depth lens with a 2-megapixel resolution.

Internally, the Vivo V20 (2021) features the Snapdragon 730G chipset alongside 8GB of RAM. The handset offers a generous storage space of 128GB. And it also has support for storage expansion via a microSD card.

The Vivo V20 (2021) ships with the FunTouch OS 11 pre-installed based on Android 11 OS, and it houses a 4,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

Regarding build, design, and specs, the Vivo V20 (2021) is similar to the Vivo V20 that debuted this year. However, the only significant difference between the two handsets is in the processors they carry.

The Vivo V20 launched with the Snapdragon 720G chipset, and the 2021 edition carries an upgraded variant of the processor.

Pricing Details of the Vivo V20 (2021)

Surprisingly, the new Vivo V20 (2021) carries the same price tag as the earlier released V20. It costs Rs 24,990 (~$339).

Customers can pick up the phone in colour editions like midnight jazz and sunset melody variants.
