Recently, Vivo has been unveiling the smartphone stock it has slated for the last quarter of the year, and the company has secretly uncovered a new device.
The company took covers off the all-new Vivo Y15A smartphone alongside the Y15s (2021) in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the Vivo Y15s (2021), already launched in Singapore, and it shares specs with the latest Vivo Y15A.
Specifications of the Vivo Y15A and Vivo Y15s (2021)
The latest Vivo Y15A smartphone weighs 178.9 grams, and it has a dimension of 163.96 x 75.2 x 8.28mm. The handset sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel that promises an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
The screen comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper, and it supports a 20:9 aspect ratio. On the rear, the Vivo Y15A packs a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup, and it would ship with the FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.
Under the hood, the Helio P35 chip oversees the operations of the Vivo Y15A. It offers 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
Regarding connectivity, the Vivo Y15A supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a side-fitted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone port, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Though the Vivo Y15s (2021) and Y15A have identical specs, the former packs 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and it ships with the Go Edition Android OS.
