The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will only receive security updates quarterly from now on; This means that as against the usual receipt of updates by Galaxy S8 duo monthly, updates will be bundled and released every three months.
Having been released in April 2017, the S8 duo is three years old now. It ran on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and has since been updated to the Android 9 Pie with One UI.
An Android 10 update is not coming for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
