At the beginning of October, OPPO launched a budget smartphone in India – the OPPO A55. Following the launch, information regarding a higher variant of the OPPO A55 made it to the internet space.
The information mentions that the upgraded variant will arrive under the OPPO A56 5G moniker, and as the name hints, this new model will debut with support for 5G connectivity.
According to a trusted source, the OPPO A56 5G will hit the shelves of online and offline Indian stores soon. Apart from the device’s images and color options, the post also revealed a few of the upcoming OPPO A56 5G handset specifications.
The leaked image reveals that the OPPO A56 5G smartphone will arrive in three color options: Wind Chime Purple, Soft Mist Black, and Cloud Smoke Blue. The rear panel will feature a rectangular camera module containing two cameras and a flash, the 5G branding, and OPPO branding.
Spec-wise, the OPPO A56 5G would offer the user a 6.2-inch dewdrop notch LCD screen that supports HD+ resolution. It will carry the MediaTek powered Dimensity 700 SoC alongside 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
The OPPO A56 5G would sport an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper and a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system on its backside. It will ship with the ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
The OPPO A56 5G weighs 189 grams with a thickness of 8.4mm. Other features of the OPPO A56 5G include support for NFC and a side-fitted fingerprint scanner.
