Remember when we mentioned a Redmi unit getting a price hike like no tomorrow? Well, Redmi has extended the same courtesy to yet another unit in its line-up – the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
This device is getting its second price hike too, coming barely a month after the first time that the company did this on the same phone model.
Note that this is the same device that is sold as the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max in India, coming with a 108MP camera rather than the basic Redmi Note 10 Pro sold in the region.
The price hike for now has been on the middle configuration which carries a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space on top of it. From all indications, the shortage of components used to make these devices is a singular factor driving up the price and causing the hikes. If the situation continues this way, demand will only get higher for these devices and the prices will continue to go up.
In the meantime, anyone looking to get their hands on what Redmi is offering with these units should better go put some money on it now. In a few days, we might just be back with another update like this where the company has tacked on yet another price on the unit.
