HMD Global has officially unveiled the long-awaited Nokia X6 smartphone – the midrange device wearing a premium high-end veil as its body.
Interestingly, the details and official specifications of the Nokia X6 are in conformity with early rumours and leaks. There are also some new interesting details that were unveiled at launch.
We knew that the Nokia X6 will come in a 5.8-icnh full-view display with a notch (and it did), USB Type-C port, 4GB of RAM, and will be powered by a Snapdragon 636 system on a chip. Some of the details of the newly launched Nokia X6 that we did not know before now: AI-powered cameras (a primary 16-megapixels and a secondary 5-megapixels lens on the rear), 3,060mAh battery, 6GB RAM variant, Quick charge 3.0 and Android Oreo 8.1.
All colour (Blue, Black & Silver) and storage variants of the Nokia X6 all come at a reasonable price tag and interestingly, Nokia assures that the devices will be getting the Android P update when it is officially released by Google. The Nokia X6 will begin shipping in China by May 21 at the following prices: $204 (4GB/32GB), $236 (4GB/64GB), $266 (6GB/64GB). There is no fixed date for worldwide shipping at the moment but we are sure HMD Global will communicate a date soon enough.
