Recently, several reports claimed that Motorola is working on a new phone called the Moto G51. However, as the company is yet to announce the device, the phone’s existence remains questionable.

Meanwhile, other sources say that Motorola plans to unveil the Moto G51 as a successor of the Moto G50 that arrived earlier. And a new report by TechnikNews has shared a few of the specs of the upcoming Motorola handset.

The publication revealed that the Moto G51 5G with the code name ‘Cyprus 5G’ and model number XT2171-1 would arrive with support for a Full HD+ resolution. The publication didn’t reveal the screen size, and information regarding the refresh rate is unclear.

The publication didn’t speak of the Moto G51’s processor as well. But it stated that the device would feature a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a triple camera unit on its backside. The rear camera system would comprise a 50-megapixel primary snapper, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera.

Meanwhile, the Moto G51 smartphone appeared at the Geekbench benchmarking platform last week. The Geekbench listing of the Moto G51 shows that it features the Snapdragon 750G chip, 4GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS.

Other details of the Moto G51 remain uncovered. But the publications claim that the handset will break cover in a couple of weeks. Hence, there’s a possibility more leaks regarding the Moto G51 will surface before its official launch.
