During the China Mobile Global Partner Conference that held recently, ZTE announced the Extreme Edition of the ZTE Axon 20 5G alongside the upcoming ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G mid-range handset.
Now, the company took to Weibo today to confirm the launch of the ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G. According to ZTE, the smartphone will break cover in China on November 30.
The launch poster for the handset, which was shared by the brand, reveals that the Blade 20 Pro 5G may arrive with a curved edge display that sports a waterdrop notch design.
Also, the smartphone will debut as a higher sibling to the Blade 20 5G phone that launched in China earlier this month.
The ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G will feature a 6.52-inch IPS LCD panel that supports an aspect ratio of 20:9 and an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
The Blade 20 Pro 5G will arrive with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage space.
Many would expect the Pro variant of the Blade 20 5G to come with the same Dimensity 720 chipset, but it doesn’t. The Snapdragon 765G fuels the ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G.
For the optics, the on-screen notch will house the 20-megapixel selfie camera.
Meanwhile, on the rear panel, the Blade 20 Pro 5G packs a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup. The configurations of the supporting cameras remain hidden.
However, the handset will debut with a 4,000mAh battery. Presently, it is unclear whether the phone would support fast charging.
The phone would feature a fingerprint scanner, but the location of the scanner remains a mystery.
The ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G will be available for purchase starting November 30, and it’s possible the Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition tag along.
