A recent report hinted that Xiaomi is planning to launch a new gaming monitor in China, it’s home country. Well, the story turned out to be legit as the Chinese firm today announced a 27-inch display gaming monitor with a high refresh rate.
Last year October, Xiaomi dived into the production and release of gaming monitors with the launch of two products around that time; a 28.3-inch display monitor and a more prominent 34-inch display monitor.
This new 27-inch display monitor is the third gaming monitor to be announced by the company, and it has the least display size so far. However, this new monitor is the most expensive from Xiaomi.
The 27-inch gaming monitor will debut with an IPS display. The panel carries support for 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate and offers a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The monitor also features 95% DCI-P3 color gamut and Display HDR 400 high dynamic display enhancement.
Thanks to the stand and rotating bracket that comes with the monitor, you can either hang the monitor or place it on a table. The device carries support for TUV low blue light and comes with Adaptive synchronization technology.
A USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, Display port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack is present.
This monitor is now available for crowdfunding in China. The device will start at 2,199 Yuan (~$310), but as long as the crowdfunding window is open, it will retail for 1,899 Yuan (~$268).
This device launch corresponds with a previous leak, which hinted that Xiaomi would announce three monitors this year. After the 27-inch monitor launch, the Chinese firm will unveil a 24.5-inch monitor in September and another 4K display monitor in November.
