Of all smartphones in the Redmi Note 10 lineup, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G is the only smartphone that supports 5G connectivity.
A recent report revealed that the Chinese smartphone maker is working on a new smartphone.
It stated that the mystery device would arrive as the latest member of the Redmi Note 10 family.
Surprisingly, a reliable tipster – Abhishek Yadav – has revealed the name of the upcoming Redmi smartphone as the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G.
The tipster further shared a promo image that reveals the rear design of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro.
From the poster, the rear view of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G appears to be almost identical to that of the global edition of the Redmi Note 10 Pro.
The image shows a quad-camera setup at the top-left corner and a Redmi logo at the bottom edge of the smartphone.
The image also shows that the phone would sport features like a speaker grille, USB-C port, and a microphone on the bottom side.
If the information on the publication is legit, the upcoming Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G would arrive with a 5G-ready chipset from Qualcomm.
Recall, the global edition of the handset features the Snapdragon 732G chipset. Hence, it is likely Xiaomi features a 5G-enabled Snapdragon 7-series chipset in the upcoming Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G.
The smartphone could launch with the Snapdragon 750G chipset under the hood.
For now, the specs of the phone remain a mystery. However, speculations believe the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G may retain some of the features available on the 4G variant – the Redmi Note 10 Pro (global).
The global edition of the Redmi Note 10 Pro arrived with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
It features a 108-megapixel quad-camera system, the Snapdragon 732G processor, and a 5,020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
