Xiaomi is known for its flash sales.
It has done one of those again with the Mi Mix Fold which, as always, got sold out in mere seconds.
The total batch of these units that was available for the flash sale was not revealed but the company realised a revenue of CNY 400 million – which translates to more than $60 million. Going by that number, and the fact that there are variants of this device selling at different price points, the brand was able to sell off no less than 30,000 – 40,000 units in that timeframe.
This foldable device comes in three different configurations – 12GB RAM/ 256GB, 12GB RAM/ 512GB and 16GB RAM/ 512GB. This shows that the phone is surely for the power users who not only want the convenience of a foldable phone which can be expanded into something bigger, but all the power that the device can give them also.
