If you have gotten your hands on the Mi 11 from Xiaomi, you should get ready to receive the latest MIUI 12.5 update coming to the device too.
The software update isn’t a massive one but that does not mean you should not get it anyway.
Current reports about the changelog states that it fixes random restart issues on the phone, adds some better animation effects for during navigation and brings improvement to the touch responses. You also get the security fixes for the month of March alongside this update.
For now, the update is rolling out in the home country (China) but it is expected that a global update is underway soon too. As long as there are no issues with the update, which weighs 461MB where it’s rolling out right now, the rest of the world should get it soon.
Should you have a unit of this device and you’re outside China, you might want to keep an eye out – or manually request the update from your settings dashboard.
