A couple of days ago, Xiaomi debuted their Mimojis with the Mi CC9. If this sounds familiar to you, it is probably because you are used to the Memojis on the iPhones which allow you to render your face into cartoons with a striking resemblance.
Ever since, Xiaomi has come out to deny any funny business, claiming their concept was not ripped off from the Cupertino-based company. They even threatened to take legal action against anyone who accused them of such.
It should be recalled that this was a company that had openly admitted to copying Apple in the past.
As if that is not enough, the company put up a promotional video for their Mimojis – and it turns out to be the same video Apple has for their invention. Even though the video has since been taken down, it does lend much credence to the fact that this is a blatant copy.
But then, what do we know?
