Users of the Xiaomi Mi Note 8 in China – or those with the same variant – will be in for a treat today when they learn that the stable rollout of MIUI 11 is coming to their devices. In other words, you can now get the Android 10, and all of the goodies that it brings with it, on your device.
The update weighs a massive 2.1GB so you might want to connect to a strong Wi-Fi connection to save yourself data costs.
According to Xiaomi, you might want to back up your data before the upgrade so that you do not lose any sensitive data. At the same time, some apps might not be compatible with the new platform yet. Simply updating your apps should get the issue out of the way for you though.
We don’t have official word on when the rest of the world will get this update, but that should not be far away from now.
