A series of recently leaked renders have been alleged to Xiaomi Mi 5. These leaked renders have originated from China. Though these designs are not official, these renders had been used by the manufacturers for styling the original Xiaomi device.
The picture depicting the front of the device exhibits an amazingly tiny home button. This home button has been mounted to hold a fingerprint sensor. Apart from this glaring feature, the rest of Mi 5 design does not stray too far from a typical Xiaomi device.
As per the source of the leaked images, Mi 5 will actually feature the fastest and the tiniest fingerprint sensor in the world.
The leaked render also details a metal frame for Xiaomi Mi 5. The pictures attest to 2.5 D glass on the top of the display panel.
The leaks also make it apparent for Xiaomi Mi 5 to sport curved 3D glass design on the back of the device. This latest smartphone from Xiaomi will also support USB Type-C connectivity.
It is worth mentioning here that the device portrayed in these images is absolutely different from the one exhibited in the previous leaks. This readily implies that one of the leaks alleging new Xiaomi Mi 5 has to be the wrong one.
The Mi 5 will be driven by Snapdragon 820 SoC. The rumored chipset has been confirmed in various leaks thus there is no significant disagreement about it. In addition, the device is also expected to flaunt a touch-enabled 5.2-inches screen with 1080p or QHD resolution.
Xiaomi Mi5 is also rumored to hold a 16MP rear camera along with a13MP front-facing shooter for selfies.
