Recently, a report regarding the Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone hit the internet. According to the publication, Xiaomi is allegedly working on a Mi 11 Pro smartphone.
Presently, the Chinese smartphone maker is yet to confirm the existence of the device.
However, a recent tweet by tech tipster – Max Weinbach – hinted that the Mi 11 Pro and another Mi 11 Ultra smartphone could debut later in April or May.
Max claimed that the mystery Xiaomi smartphone with model number M2012K1G could launch in the markets as the Mi 11 Pro.
Today, the Indian variant of the Xiaomi handset got certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The same certification body has also approved the Redmi K40 smartphone.
The Redmi K40 smartphone appeared on the database of the BIS with the model number M2012K11AI.
Presently, the BIS certifications of these smartphones have no details on their specifications and features.
Nevertheless, the certification authority hinted that the smartphone would launch in India soon.
The rumour mill is yet to reveal concrete information about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. However, speculations say that the phone would feature the powerful Snapdragon 888 mobile platform.
Claims further stated that the handset could be the first from Xiaomi to feature an under-display camera technology.
A few reports have hinted that the Mi 11 Pro would come with a 6.81-inch OLED panel with curved edges.
If the reports are legit, the display would support 120Hz refresh rate and produce a QHD+ resolution.
Other reports claim that the handset would support 120x zoom and draw power from a 5,000mAh battery.
