Xiaomi Demonstrates How the Mi 10 Ultra Remotely Controls a Car

Recently, one of the top Chinese smartphone brands, Xiaomi, debuted a new flagship – the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, to mark the company’s 10th anniversary.

Following the specs, the company has portrayed the power and capabilities of the smartphone but one. The firm is ready to show the world how the Mi 10 Ultra can be used as a remote to control a car.

Xiaomi took to Weibo to share a teaser image and video, which shows how the Mi 10 Ultra will remotely access and control a car that is thousands of miles away.

According to the video, the whole process relies on 5G connectivity. The vehicle model used for the demonstration is still unknown, but it has a sporty build and 5G inscribed on most sides.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra features a Full HD+ 6.67-inch panel that delivers a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of 120Hz, 240Hz touch sampling rate, a peak brightness of 1120 nits, HDR10+, and up to 1.07 billion colours.

Furthermore, the display is certified by TUV Rheinland and is guarded by a Gorilla Glass 5.

The Mi 10 Ultra is run by the Qualcomm-powered Snapdragon 865 chipset. It features up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and offers the user with up to 512GB of native storage.

On the back panel, the phone packs a quad-camera system, which includes a pair of 48-megapixel sensors, an ultrawide 20-megapixel snapper, and a 12-megapixel telephoto shooter.

It features a dedicated 20-megapixel camera on its front side for selfies and making video calls.

The Mi 10 Ultra comes pre-installed with the company’s MIUI based on Android 10 OS.

It houses a 4,500mAh battery, which consists of two 2,250mAh lithium-ion batteries. It has support for 10W reverse charging, 50W wireless charging, and 120W wired fast charging feature.
