WorldRemit and Lonestar Cell MTN have joined forces to create an easy means for their customers to receive international payments. The partnership would allow customers to accept funds directly into their Mobile Money accounts at no cost.
Across Liberia, there are over 7,000 operational Lonestar Cell MTN agent cashpoints. The new initiative from the two companies aims at reducing and, if possible, eliminating the stress and risks involved in queueing in banking halls, especially in these trying times.

Using the mobile transfer code, which is *156#, customers can withdraw funds, pay for goods and services, and transfer money to another party at the standard charge rate.
