Two months ago, Vivo took to India to unveil the Vivo Y33s smartphone. And the phone launched with a price tag of Rs 17,990 (~$239).
A fresh piece of information has made it known that the smartphone maker has increased the Vivo Y33s’ price by Rs 1,000 (~$13) in India.
With the recent price increase, Vivo has listed the Y33s smartphone on its Indian website for Rs 18,990 (~$252). And Flipkart has also effected the price change on the Vivo Y33s on its online retail platform.
Presently, Vivo is yet to release any statement regarding the price increase of the Vivo Y33s smartphone. But speculations say fluctuations in the exchange rates could have been the reason for the price increase.
Specifications of the Vivo Y33s Smartphone
The Vivo Y33s handset comes with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen. The handset promises to offer the user a Full HD+ resolution, and it debuts with the FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 OS.
The phone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera setup on its rear panel.
The Vivo Y33s smartphone comes with the Helio G80 chipset alongside 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Interestingly, the Vivo Y33s features 4GB of extended RAM, and it relies on a 4,000mAh battery for backup.
Other features of the Vivo Y33s include a side-fitted fingerprint scanner for security and 18W fast charging. Customers can get the phone in Midday Dream and Mirror Black color options.
