Finally, the entry-level Vivo Y1s smartphone has gone official in India. The phone, which launched discreetly, is already listed on the company’s official site in India.
Even though it’s a budget smartphone, the Vivo Y1s packs some quite attractive features like a modest processor, a big battery size, and a large-sized screen.
Already, the smartphone is available for purchase as a standalone device, and customers can get a lock-in offer when they shop from Jio.
The Vivo Y1s arrives with a 6.22-inch Hao FullView LCD screen that features a waterdrop notch. The display offers the user a screen space of 88.5%, and it produces an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels – not bad for a budget device.
On the inside, the modest Helio P35 chipset oversees the operations of the Vivo Y1s smartphone. It has 2GB of RAM, a built-in storage of 32GB, and a microSD card slot to expand storage.
For software, the Vivo Y1s is loaded with the FunTouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10 OS.
Meanwhile, on the front side, the handset houses a 5-megapixel selfie shooter in its on-screen notch, and it sports a single 13-megapixel camera on its back panel.
The Vivo Y1s carries support for dual 4G VoLTE, micro USB, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a 4,030mAh battery.
In India, the Vivo Y1s retails for 7,990 Yuan (~$108), and interested customers can pick up the smartphone in colours like olive black and aurora blue.
However, buying the new Vivo Y1s through Jio’s lock-in offer presents the buyer with Rs 4,550 (~$61) worth of benefits.
