By June 1, Vivo will be unveiling the Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro smartphones in China. The render of both phones surfaced already on a Chinese retail site, and a reliable tech leakster from China has revealed the key specifications of the Vivo X50. Simultaneously, some real-time images of the new device have appeared on Weibo.
The leak shows that the Vivo X50 will come with a 6.56-inch Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole situated on the screen to house the front-facing camera. The display supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Also, the device will feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The selfie camera on the Vivo X50 is a 32-megapixel Samsung GD1 sensor. The back panel of the device features a rectangular-shaped module, which serves as housing for the quad-camera setup and the LED flash.
The rear camera includes a Sony IMX598 48-megapixel main snapper followed by a 13-megapixel Samsung S5K3L6 lens, an 8-megapixel OmniVision OV08A10 telephoto sensor, and an 8-megapixel Hynix Hi846 ultrawide lens.
A Geekbench listing of the Vivo X50 series suggests that the Snapdragon 765G will power the smartphones. The new leak confirms that the X50 will be driven by the Snapdragon 765G. The 3C listing of the Vivo X50 reveals that the phone will come with a 4,315mAh battery and will support 33W fast charging.
The Vivo X50 series will sport a 3.5mm headphone jack and an AK4377a Hi-Fi audio chip.
The Vivo X50 Pro will likely debut with a curved edge display. It will be arriving with an eye-like gimbal camera that makes the capturing of highly stable photos and videos possible.
