A few days back, Vivo took the covers off the Vivo V20 and the Vivo V20 Pro smartphones in Thailand.
Now, the tech giant has unveiled the SE edition of the Vivo V20 smartphone in Malaysia.
The handset sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel with a waterdrop notch design. The screen supports HDR10 and delivers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Further, the display on the Vivo V20 SE has a 20:9 aspect ratio, supports a 60Hz screen refresh rate, and delivers a 90.12 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Under the Gorilla Glass 3 guarded display is an optical fingerprint reader for unlocking the device.
On the inside, the Snapdragon 665 chip drives the Vivo V20 SE. The handset ships out with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal storage. it also offers the user with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Vivo V20 SE will boot to the FunTouchOS 11 based on Android 10 OS.
For the cameras, the device houses a 32-megapixel camera, which allows the user to snap selfies and make video calls, in its on-screen notch.
On the back panel, the phone features a vertically aligned triple camera setup. It consists of a primary 48-megapixel lens, an ultrawide 8-megapixel shooter, and a 2-megapixel shooter.
The selfie camera on the phone supports features like AI face beauty, soft light band, pose master, and super night selfie.
Also, the Vivo V20 SE supports 4K video recording at up to 30fps.
The smartphone houses a 4,100mAh battery, which has support for 33W FlashCharge technology.
As for the connectivity, it features 4G VoLTE, dual SIM, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The company produced the phone in two colour editions for the Malaysian market; gravity black and oxygen blue. It retails for RM 1,199 (~$288) at Lazada.
