Since the year started, many smartphone manufacturers have announced flagship devices with powerful processors from companies like Qualcomm and MediaTek.
A few smartphones have launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC already, and more will arrive with the powerful chipset.
Meanwhile, a tipster from China revealed the existence of an upcoming Vivo smartphone earlier this week. The smartphone carries the name Vivo S7t. And it would arrive with the Dimensity 820 SoC.
The upcoming Vivo S7t has appeared on the database of the 3C authority of China. Its 3C certification reveals that it has the model number V2048A.
The details on the certification platform also mentions that the upcoming Vivo S7t would feature a 33W fast charger in the retail package.
Interestingly, the same Vivo smartphone with model number V2048A appeared on Geekbench recently. The Geekbench listing of the phone states that it has 8GB of RAM and Dimensity 820 processor.
The handset would ship with the Android 11 OS.
Since a reliable tipster claimed that the Vivo S7t would feature the Dimensity 820 chipset; it appears that the model number V2048A is for the upcoming Vivo smartphone.
Recall, the Chinese firm announced the Vivo S7 5G in August 2020. The phone featured the Snapdragon 765G chipset.
Following that, the company launched the Dimensity 720 powered Vivo S7e 5G in November.
The new leak from the tipster suggests that Vivo is getting ready to announce the third member of the S7 series.
Aside from the chipset, the Vivo S7t 5G would likely feature similar specs as the Vivo S7 5G smartphone.
Therefore, the upcoming Vivo S7t 5G may arrive with a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel that features a notch design.
The handset may come with a dual 44-megapixel + 8-megapixel selfie shooter. On the rear side, the Vivo S7t could sport a 64-megapixel triple camera system.
The handset would rely on a 4,500mAh battery for backup. For software, it would come pre-loaded with the OriginOS based on Android 11 OS.
