Earlier this month, Vivo launched the Vivo S7e 5G smartphone in China. The phone arrived as a lower sibling of the previous released Vivo S7 5G.
Meanwhile, a couple of days ago, reports revealed that the Vivo S7e 5G would debut today. The reports categorically mentioned that the sales of the Vivo S7e 5G would begin sixteen days after its announcement.
Now, the day is here, and the Vivo S7e is up for sale in its home country.
Specifications of the Vivo S7e 5G
The Vivo S7e 5G comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel with a teardrop notch design. The screen, which has a refresh rate of 60Hz, offers the user an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 90.1% screen space.
For security, the screen is integrated with a fingerprint sensor, and it also supports face unlock.
Under the hood, the Vivo S7e 5G runs on the MediaTek-Powered Dimensity 720 5G chipset. It features an LPDDR4x RAM and a UFS 2.1 storage.
For software, the handset will boot to the FunTouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10 OS, and it will receive the company’s latest OriginOS when it arrives next year.
For optics, the Vivo S7e 5G houses a 32-megapixel selfie snapper in its on-screen notch.
Meanwhile, the handset packs a triple camera system that comprises of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an ultrawide 8-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on its rear panel.
The Vivo S7e 5G houses a 4,100mAh battery that carries support for 33W fast charging.
Unfortunately, the Vivo S7e 5G launched in a single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It retails for 2,398 Yuan (~$447), and it comes in the following colour editions: mirror black, phantom blue, and silver moon.
