In August, Vivo announced the Vivo S7 5G smartphone in China. Meanwhile, not long after it launched, the smartphone maker did a remake of the phone and introduced it to some Asian markets as the Vivo V20 Pro 5G.
Today, the Chinese firm has taken to India to unveil the Vivo V20 Pro 5G. It arrived in the country as the second 5G-enabled phone from the brand.
Specifications of the Vivo V20 Pro 5G
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel with a wide on-screen notch at the top-centre of the display.
The screen features an in-screen fingerprint reader, has a 20:9 aspect ratio, and delivers an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
The Snapdragon 765G processor alongside an LPDDR4x RAM drives the Vivo V20 Pro 5G. It arrives with a UFS 2.1 storage and supports additional storage through a dedicated microSD card slot.
For the optics, the Vivo V20 Pro 5G features a dual selfie camera system, which comprises of a 44-megapixel primary lens and an ultrawide 8-megapixel shooter with a 108° field-of-view.
On the backside, the handset packs a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera setup.
The rear lenses on the Vivo V20 Pro 5G support 4K video recording and super night mode while the front sensors carry support for slow-motion video shooting, low-light mode, and impressive video recording capabilities.
The Vivo V20 Pro 5G arrives with the FunTouchOS 11 skin based on Android 11 OS. It is backed up by a 4,000mAh-rated battery that supports 33W rapid charging.
The V20 Pro 5G debuted in India in a sole variant of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It sells for Rs 29,990 (~$407), and customers can purchase it in colour options such as sunset melody and midnight jazz through offline and online stores.
