Back in May, Vivo announced the Vivo Y30 smartphone in Malaysia and introduced it to the Malaysian markets. The wing of the Chinese firm in India has silently launched the mid-ranged Vivo Y30 smartphone today in India.
The Vivo Y30 is available in a single model on the retail site, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It sports an iView 6.47-inch punch-hole IPS LCD panel. The display offers HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The company also mentioned that the device has a 90.7 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Alongside the 4GB of RAM, the device is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC including an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.3GHz.
The Vivo Y30 will arrive with FunTouch OS 10 assisted by Android 10 OS. Out of the box, the phone comes with Multi Turbo 3.0 and offers Ultra Game Mode for an enhanced gaming experience.
On the front side, the phone features an 8-megapixel lens for taking selfies. The quad-camera setup on the rear includes a 13-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. An LED flash accompanies the rear camera.
A 5,000mAh battery with a 10W charging capacity will back up this device. The Vivo Y30 also carries support for dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac,4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB port.
Presently, the smartphone is up on Flipkart. The device will retail for Rs. 14,990 (~$200) and the first sale will start by 8 PM IST today on Flipkart.
The Vivo Y30 will likely debut in Emerald Black and Dazzling Blue colour choices.
