Vivo has decided to launch the Vivo Y1s smartphone in Cambodia today. The entry-level device comes with a lot of amazing features at a very affordable price.
The Vivo Y1s measures 135.11 x 75.09 x 8.28mm and weighs 161 grams. It has a plastic build and a gradient finish on its back panel.
On its front side, the Vivo Y1s debuts with a Halo FullView 6.22-inch LCD display. The screen features a water-drop notch which houses the selfie camera and delivers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels.
On the inside, alongside the 2GB RAM on the device, the Vivo smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P35 chipset. It arrives with 32GB of space in terms of storage and features a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.
Out of the box, the Vivo Y1s will come pre-installed with the FunTouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10 Operating System.
As for the lenses, the water-drop notch on the phone’s screen houses an f/1.8 aperture 5-megapixel camera for taking selfies. On its backside, a single 13-megapixel lens with an f/2.2 aperture sits pretty at the top left corner. The rear camera is assisted by an LED flash.
The Vivo Y1s is backed up by a moderate 4,030mAh battery. As for the security, the phone doesn’t feature a fingerprint sensor. Being an entry-level device, chances of it featuring an in-screen fingerprint sensor are very slim. It will like feature face unlock and use of passwords.
On the connectivity aspect, it will carry support for GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, dual 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro-USB 2.0 port for charging.
In Cambodia, the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of the Vivo Y1s retails for $109.
The device will be available in Aurora Blue and Olive Black colour choices.
