A few days to the end of 2020, Vivo hosted a launch event to announce the Vivo X60 series smartphones.
At the event, the Chinese smartphone maker took the covers off the Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro, and Vivo X60 Pro+.
However, the brand didn’t disclose the details of the Pro+ model at the event, even till now.
Meanwhile, Vivo claimed that the X60 Pro+ would arrive in January.
A couple of hours back, the firm took to its official Weibo page to share some information about the X60 Pro+.
According to the post, the Pro+ variant of the latest X60 series will launch in China on January 21.
The standard and Pro variants of the X60 series feature the new Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset. Speculations have it that the X60 Pro Plus may come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Fortunately, a listing of the upcoming Vivo X60 series smartphone surfaced at JD.com recently. The information contains the memory variants and colour options of the Vivo X60 Pro+.
The Chinese retail website revealed that the handset would arrive in options like 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. And customers can purchase it in the following colour options: deep ocean blue and classic orange.
Speculations surrounding the Vivo X60 Pro+ have it that it will come with the same 6.56-inch AMOLED panel on the X60 and X60 Pro models.
The screen will feature a centre punch-hole and an under-screen fingerprint scanner. The Vivo X60 Pro+ would also offer a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
If the rumours are legit, the X60 Pro+ will support 55W fast charging.
