Multinational phone producing firm, Tecno, has launched the Tecno Droipad 7C Pro Pad in Nigeria.
The product is an upgrade to Tecno 7C which was released last year and sports a full metal unibody design. It also runs Android Lollipop out of the box and has dual SIM card support.
The Tecno Droidpad 7C Pro comes in a 7.0 inch (600 x 1024 pixels) resolution IPS capacitive touchscreen. Under the hood, it is powered by a Mediatek quadcore processor clocked at 1.3 GHz.
This is further coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB RAM to offer moderate multitasking experience to prospective users.
There’s 16GB of internal storage on the Tecno DroiPad 7C pro which can be expanded up to 32GB via a Micro SD card.
The phablet comes bearing a 2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Another 2 megapixel camera with LED flash is on the front for taking selfies and making video calls.
Connectivity options on the phablet include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and USB on-the-go.
The Tecno DroiPad 7C Pro is further backed by a non-removable 3000mAh battery which supports Fast Charge 2.0.
Tecno’s Droidpad 7C is scheduled to hit the shelves in stores on 8th of March 2016. The Android Tablet will be available in Champagne Gold; Space Grey; Premium Silver color options at a price of approximately 30,000 Naira.
Marketing Lead at Tecno tablet Business Unit, Gbenga Oguntade, said the Droidpad 7C phablet was launched in response to a growing demand for high performance products in the tablet and pad segment.
“We see a huge opportunity in the tablet and pads segment of the market; it is a largely unattended market with few players pegging product price within the reach of end users who need them the most. In the years ahead, Tecno hopes to control significant market share in the tablet segment of the market, by giving users best quality product at prices they can afford,” he said.
