Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy XCover Pro smartphone in January. The brand designed it as a rugged phone that can withstand weather and environmental conditions.
Recently, the XCover 5 smartphone appeared on Geekbench and the database of the Federal Communications Commission.
The recent appearances suggest that the smartphone may launch soon. Meanwhile, tipster – Sudhanshu Ambhore – has shared a few specifications of the upcoming Samsung smartphone.
The leak mentioned that the Samsung XCover 5 would debut with a 5.3-inch display that produces an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels.
For now, the leak has no information on the phone’s processor. However, it stated that the XCover 5 would offer the user 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage.
The handset houses a 3,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.
The XCover 5 would sport a 5-megapixel selfie snapper and a single 16-megapixel shooter on the rear.
The Geekbench listing of the phone reveals that it will sport the Exynos 850 chipset. And it will arrive pre-loaded with the Android 11 OS.
The FCC listing of the XCover 5 did not reveal any details of the phone. However, it stated that the phone could arrive as a weaker sibling of the XCover Pro that debuted last year.
