Leaked images of Sony’s upcoming devices Xperia C5 and Xperia M5 have surfaced merely a few hours before official release.
Russian blog Hi-Tech Mail shared the images of the Sony devices including their key features. Leaked images of Xperia C5 and Xperia M5 have taken the internet by storm. Fearing legal action from Sony, the images were soon retrieved by the blog. However by then, the images had been embedded in nearly every major tech news site and blog.
Leaked images reveal that the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra features an extremely thin (0.8mm) body with a huge 6-inch HD display. C5 Ultra is powered by a Mediatek 6752 chipset, paired with 2GB RAM supporting 16GB of internal memory expandable via microSD.
Amazing 13MP front and rear cameras deliver crisp pictures and clear snapshots. The power backup is provided via a 2,930mAh battery. In Russia, Xperia C5 Ultra will be offered at a price equivalent to $340 to $360.
The snapshots also revealed specs of Xperia M5, featuring a 5-inch HD display, powered by Mediatek Helio X10 chipset, coupled with 3GB RAM and 16GB of built-in storage that is further expandable via microSD. The Xperia M5 possesses a 21.5MP rear cam with IMX230 camera sensor and a 13 Megapixels front camera, provided with IP68 certification making it water and dust proof.
Though M5 somewhat lacks in its specs but its camera will be loved by everyone. Sony made a statement saying it will focus on the camera’s eye. 21.5MP will capture water clear shots featured with fast F 2.2 aperture. It will provide 5x zooming option without disturbing the minute details in the snaps.
These devices are really useful if one is looking for a mid-priced phone, typically for those more concerned with camera results.
