Sony might have had to shift its plans due to the cancellation of MWC 2020, but that does not mean they are relenting in bringing us the amazing devices which they have planned for us this year. While other OEMs are still bringing teasers for their phones, Sony has gone the extra step of announcing a launch date instead.
The posters which the company released online shows that their first launch show will be a livestream to be seen on YouTube, and it would hold on the 24th of February.
We strongly believe that this launch event will be for a flagship else there won’t be much hype like this around it. Likewise, there is no confirmed name for the unit yet but it could come as the Xperia 5. Some other leaks have also pegged it to be the Xperia 1.1 instead, but we have a couple of days to find out for sure.
