Sony Cuts the Price of Xperia Z5

Just a few days after its release, Sony UK has cuts prices of the Xperia Z5 family. The pre-order for the Xperia Z5 had begun in the United Kingdom only a few days ago.

The new prices are much similar to those set by Amazon for the devices. Sony launched its Xperia Z5 cellphones on September 3 will very steep price tags .

Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, and Xperia Z5 Premium smartphones have been provided on Sony’s site for pre-order but suddenly Sony has taken the wise decision to reduce prices of the new flagships.

At the time of release, Xperia Z5 Compact was priced 549 pounds (almost $833), Xperia Z5 was 599 pounds (almost $909) and Xperia Z5 Premium costed about 699 pounds (almost $1,060). New and old prices of these sets are listed below:

Sony Xperia Z5 Compact: Was £549 ($833 or 164,900 Naira) and now it is £429 ($651 or 128,900 NGN).

Sony Xperia Z5: Was £599 ($909 or 179,900 Naira) and now it is £549 ($833 or 164,900 NGN).

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium: Was £699 ($1060 or 209,900 Naira) and now it is £629 ($954 or 188,900 NGN).

Pre-order for the Xperia Z5 family has already started on Sony’s UK site but it has not been confirmed when they will actually hit the markets of UK.

Whatever the date will be, at least, it would be available at lower and more affordable prices particularly Z5 Compact.

Analysts are of the view that the price cut off will surely generate a bigger customer ratio and just might prove to be a good strategy to enhance sales.
