A few months ago, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer announced its flagship device in its home country, the Smartisan Nut R2.
At launch, the device arrived in colour editions like green and black, but now, the company is all geared up to announced the white colour variant of the smartphone.
According to the firm, it has plans to produce only 2,000 units of the limited white colour edition. The new colour variant packs 16GB of RAM and 512GB of ROM for a reasonable price of 6,499 Yuan (~$995).
Specifications of the Smartisan Nut R2
The Smartisan Nut R2 comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel that supports a Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.
On the inside, the Qualcomm-powered Snapdragon 865 SoC drives the Smartisan Nut R2. Alongside the processor is 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a massive UFS 3.1 internal storage space of 512GB.
For software, the handset boots to the Smartisan OS 8.0 based on Android 10 OS.
Talking cameras, the Smartisan Nut R2 packs a 20-megapixel selfie snapper in its on-screen punch-hole.
Meanwhile, on the backside, the phone has a quad-camera setup which consists of a 108-megapixel primary lens followed by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto snapper, and a 5-megapixel macro lens.
The lenses on this device carry support for up to 8K resolution time-lapse photography, 3x optical zoom, and 30x hybrid zoom.
For connectivity, the Smartisan Nut R2 features dual-mode 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC. It houses a 4,510mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging.
Other features on the Smartisan Nut R2 includes DTS audio, stereo speakers, and a new slider button that activates the silent profile.
