Sharp is not a name we hear in the smartphone world daily, but that does not mean they are not in the business anymore. They have just cemented that stand with the launch of a latest Sharp AQUOS V which comes with an impressive SD 835 chipset from Qualcomm out of the box.
Although this chipset was the in-thing back in 2017, that does not mean it cannot pack a punch when used rightly.
To start with, this new device comes with a 5.93-inch screen with FHD+ resolution, finishing the front design with an 8MP snapper. One thing you would notice on this unit is how it goes old school, ditching the notch and such other fancy fronts for a natural and more traditional feel.
Going to the back of the device, Sharp went with a dual camera setup featuring a 13MP main snapper and a supporting 13MP sensor to match. To round off the design on the back is a fingerprint reader to match.
Diving under the hood, we have a 4GB/ 64GB storage option, opportunity to expand the storage and a rather small 3,090mAh battery to keep the lights on. Android 9 Pie is running the affairs of the phone, and the headphone jack has been kept in place.
Supposed to go live for sale in Taiwan first, this device is supposed to retain at an equivalent of $230. For that price, the specs are surely nice.
