Samsung to start testing periscope camera for Galaxy S11 soon

Jumia Black Friday Deals

The Galaxy S10 units have been in the market for a while now, and Samsung has started to turn its attention towards the next generation of devices here. According to recent rumours, the South Korean company will soon start testing the periscope camera that they are planning to build into the upcoming unit.

As of the time of this writing, it is said that they have received test sockets for the cameras already which indicates that the main components will be shipped out in no time.

Another interesting rumour is that the new camera modules will come with a spectrometer on board. This will make it possible to use the camera to analyse chemical components of substances.

Used for food, that could determine the calorie level of meals and alcohol content of drinks. This will be yet another step forward in the health department for Samsung, boosting what they have left behind in the heart rate sensor area.
