Samsung has cultivated the habit of bringing an FE alongside their other units every year, especially for the flagship range. Going by the timeline of release that we got on the likes of the Galaxy S20 FE, we should have seen the Galaxy S21 FE now, or be close to seeing that unit in the market.
Bad news: we might have to wait longer than usual to get this one this time.
If the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will hold in August, as it should, that would have been the ideal time to see the new generation of the FE in the market. As of the time of this writing, though, a new report has surfaced to inform that the FE will launch sometimes in October instead.
The news report also claims that only a few users will have access to the phone. That shows that Samsung might not be investing too much into making a lot of units. That will help drive sales, no doubt, given the exclusivity – while also meaning the company has less inventory to deal with.
Of course, none of these comes from official sources yet so we might just take it with a pinch of salt. Given that these things tend to turn out true, though, you might want to keep this piece of news in mind anyway.
