Samsung has seen good success with the new One UI program – and they are launching the beta test for the One UI 4.0 at the time of this writing.
For one, this shows that the brand is skipping the One UI 3.5 to go to the next level which should be the Android 12 option. While the beta software itself is yet to start rolling out, the company is working on getting beta testers that would be ready to get downloading and providing feedback on the beta update when it makes the market.
Samsung is keeping the recruitment to users of the Galaxy S21 line of devices only for now. thus, if you have either of the Galaxy S21, or the bigger Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra, you can register to be one of the beta testers for this program.
Another thing worthy of note is that only phone uses in S Korea, the home market of the company, can sign up to the beta testing program for now. With an estimated rollout date of September, there is a chance that the company adds other regions soon.
For now, users in that region can head over to the Samsung forums to get a link to register their interest in being a beta tester.
Before you do that, though, remember that beta software is not fully built out yet and will have a lot of bugs which could break your device from time to time. If you are willing to live with that, then you can sign up to join the testing team.
