Samsung is doing well in the upgrade game these days, taking important software to units that we would have expected them to side-line.
First, it was the Galaxy A01 getting a One UI 3.1 core update which brought Android 11 to the unit. Now, the company is taking the same update to both the budget level Galaxy M01 and the midrange Galaxy A41 too. Both of these devices are also getting a taste of Android 11 alongside the security patches that comes on board.
These updates will also bring bug fixes and performance updates, as well as OS-specific features on the new Android version.
However, not all markets are getting the update yet. It is only a matter of time to get the update in other markets though.
If you have any of these units and don’t want to wait for the notification to pop up on your unit, head into the settings dashboard to manually request the update.
