Samsung is pushing the envelope on bringing really affordable 5G units to the market and they have done that in style with the Galaxy A22 5G launched last month. Seeing how 5G units will soon become the new normal, it is wise that they are trying to get into the hearts of as many as possible with their units so that thy can be the force to be reckoned with when the network rolls out on a much bigger scale.
However, as at the time of launch of that device, we were expecting a non 5G variant for those who wanted an even better deal on the unit and might not be able to use 5G in their areas now. That didn’t happen last month, but it is currently happening now.
If you have been looking to get this kind of unit, it has silently made the market in India. Selling for an equivalent of $250, the Galaxy A22 unit does not look worth the money. Besides the removal of 5G, Samsung also took some specs off and only dropped $50 on the total sales price
Of course, what you need and how much you have to spend will make the choice for you at the end of the day. If this sounds like what you are interested in, though, then there is no reason to not go for this unit that has a 6.6-inch screen, packs a massive 5000mAh battery and brings 6GB + 128GB to the table.
