A listing on Google Play Console shows that Samsung is working on a new tablet for the market, and the specs are in too.
To be dubbed Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) at the time it finally launches, this tablet comes with a meagre 3GB RAM under the hood and works with an Exynos 7904 chipset. The name of the tablet has already given off its screen size, but it didn’t state that this screen would have a 1200 x 1920 resolution to boot.
While this is surely one of those budget tablets, we didn’t expect to see it running Android 9 Pie at a time when the Android 11 would soon start making headlines. What we expect is that Samsung might be working on pushing an update to Android 10 to the unit after the launch event. Whichever way they go about that one, the spec sheet didn’t venture anything in terms of the battery or storage options, among other things.
As soon as we have more information on this tablet, we will be the first to bring the news to you here.
