We are practically less than a week to the Samsung Unpacked event where we will see the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, but we don’t have to wait that long to know all the specs on this device. If a new leak that we have seen is anything to by, there is just about little that we don’t know about this upcoming device now.
For starters, the 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen on this unit will feature a high res 120Hz refresh rate and carry the latest Corning tech in the Gorilla Glass library – the Victus. It is believed that this one is twice as scratch resistant as the last Gorilla Glass 6.
Samsung takes no chances with the folding hinge of this device which is said to have been tested about 2000,00 times without any structural issues at all. If you were folding this device 100 times every day, you would need five years of usage to get through that testing phase.
Elsewhere, the device will use a 6.2-inch cover display protected by the same GG tech. Under the hood, Samsung has killed the Exynos line and chose to go with only SD 888 chipset this time around. Users will also get as much as 12GB of RAM and a massive 512Gb storage option to match.
Rounding this up is a decent 4400mAh battery that supports wireless charging and fast charging via the USB C port.
Those remain the interesting specs on a device that we have literally been expecting for a year now, and we wait till launch to see what else Samsung might have planned for us.
