About a month ago (in May 2018), there were reports that Samsung was set to release two new colour variants of her latest flagship — the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. The colours rumoured to be unveiled then were Burgundy Red and Gold colour variants.
The Burgundy Red edition of the Galaxy S9+ has been available in the Korean and Chinese market since May. The Sunrise Gold edition, on the other hand, is now available in selected markets this June, as earlier rumoured.
While Samsung initially launched the Galaxy S9 nd S9+ in the following colour variants; Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Titanium Gray, and Coral Blue. However, the company’s Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Younghee Lee believes that:
“People want to be able to express their style and personality through their technology and colour is a big part of that personalization.”
He then added that,
“The new editions extend the colour offerings of Galaxy S9 and S9+ with vibrant styles that embrace a modern and classic feel.”
