While some devices in the Samsung lineup have already gotten the official One UI 2 based on Android 10, other devices from last year are still getting the beta versions. One of such is Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus, both of which have now been confirmed to get the second beta installation of this new OS.
Note that the Galaxy S10 family took about 7 betas in before they got the stable build, so it might be a long time before we see the official Android 10 on last year’s flagship units too. However, this could also be one of the cases where we get the update ahead of schedule, seeing what has happened with the Galaxy S10 devices.
If you have a Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus, and you are signed on to the beta testing program, you might want to be on the lookout for your update notification.
