The  unheralded Samsung J7 (2016) and the Galaxy J5 (2016) appear to be ready to hit the markets soon. Both the alleged devices have successfully passed Bluetooth SIG certification. The precursors of both the handsets were released last year in June 2015.
As per the leaked benchmark results, the Galaxy J7 (2016) will be released in two variants. One of the variants of J7 (2016) will be powered by Snapdragon 615 while the other one will be powered by Exynos 7870 SoC.
Both the variants of Galaxy J7 (2016) will come with 5.5 inches display. However, the two handsets will feature distinct screen resolutions and RAM.
The Snapdragon 615 run Galaxy J7 (2016) will sport 1080p screen resolution along with 3GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Exynos 7870 powered smartphone will come with 720p resolution and will pack in 2GB of RAM. In addition, the power backup of Galaxy J7 (2016) will be provided by a 4300mAh battery.
In accordance with the latest trend of including a biometric sensor in the smartphones, Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) will also come with a fingerprint sensor.
Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) will be powered by quad-core Snapdragon 410 Cortex A-53 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The other rumored specs of J5 (2016) include 2GB of RAM along with 16GB internal memory.
The smartphone will feature LED supported 12 or 13MP primary shooter along with 5MP front camera to click selfies. However, there has been no word regarding the availability and pricing of the devices yet.
Although the upcoming Mobile World Congress is a perfect time to introduce new gadgets to the consumers, it apears that the South Korean electronics giant does not want to distract consumer’s attention from much-awaited Galaxy S7. Thus, an exclusive late event for the launch of these two smartphones may be organised.
