Samsung was never good at keeping a tight lid on the phones coming out of its stables. It was, thus, not that surprising when a lot of specs on the upcoming Galaxy A72 4G made the rounds in February.
Official listings of the phone on the Google Play Console now points to the fact that those leaked specs were actually on point.
In fact, we now know for a fact that the device will ship with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G out of the box. With that, it is a little surprising that the unit is being capped at 4G.
Looking elsewhere, though, this device boasts a base 6GB CPU and an option to go for 8GB if you need that much power. No matter which one you pick, you get the same Android 11 and a new pair of storage options – 128GB and 256GB.
The phone is expected to hit the Indian market first but it would not be an exclusive there. If the leaks are anything to go by, we will see the phone in Europe and probably other parts of the world.
